Bank Security Guard Danny AU
So, the People of Gotham are extremely desensitized to Rouge Attacks at this point. It got to the point that whenever a person gets a job at the Bank, they have a whole 1 Hour Training Video on how to deal with a Rouge Attack right.
So, when they hire a New Security Guard from a lesser known Security Company, they don't even bother showing him the Training Video. They assume that he'll either Die or Drop them within a Week.
Danny, for the record, did not know how bad the Rouge problem truly was. All he knew was that some random guy in a Ski Mask had just walked into the bank like he owned the place and started showing off a Gun telling everybody to get on the ground.
Danny did the sensible thing and Knocked him the Fuck Out.
Then, the same thing happened the very next day, but this time it was an entire group of people. Danny had them dealt with before the first person had gotten to the floor.
Then the same thing happened the Same Day!
By the end of the week he had become a Legend among the Citizens of Gotham. There was only a single Bank in all of Gotham that had avoided being robbed for a Whole Week, and it was all because of this one Security Guard who was freakishly good at his Job.
By the end of the Month, most criminals don't even bother trying that Bank anymore. It got worse when he got loaned out as Security for another Bank, and the same thing happened again.
Eventually, he ends up rotating shifts in Every Bank in Gotham, and it becomes a Game for the Criminals to see if the Bank they try to Rob is the one Danny is in that night. And they can't even reasonably predict his next location, since he always moves around at Random!
No matter what Bank he is in, he always manages to beat the Crooks trying to Rob the Bank.
Then it gets weird. Due to a scheduling Mix Up, Danny ends up being scheduled for 2 different Banks on the same day, each across the city from the other.
One Bank reports that Danny stopped a gang from Robbing them at 6:00 PM, which really confuses the other Bank because Danny did the same thing in their Bank at the same time. Security Footage proves it, Danny was somehow in 2 places at once.
They decide not to confront him about it, but they do test a theory. They intentionally hire him at multiple different Banks at the same time for a week. He shows up to work every time without fail.
By now they have basically confirmed that he must be a Meta, but they don't really care anyways. Now he can protect multiple Banks at once with his usual perfect Efficiency, and he'll be payed accordingly as well. The Banks get protected well, and he gets payed Extreme Overtime by the Banks, everybody wins!
Well...except for the Crime Bosses of Gotham.
Before this, it was a Game for them to try and beat Danny. They didn't really care since a single Uber Competent Security Guard was still perfectly fine for business, sure they would fail a Job once in a while if they ran into him, but he could only be in 1 place at a time. It wasn't a Huge Loss.
But now it was too much. They needed to take care of him.
Assassination Attempts didn't work. He was just as competent Off the job as he was On it, so they could never get to him.
They tried attacking his Bosses, but then they hired themselves to protect...themselves. It was hard to kill his Bosses when he was constantly Bodyguarding all of them at once.
Attempts to get to him through his Family were...let's not talk about that...
It continued on like this for a while.
...
Soooo...I don't know how to end this one.
Go ahead and put your own spin on this Prompt! The basic idea is that Danny is using his Duplication Power to get to every shift on Time, and he is really annoying the Local Crime Bosses.
What do you think?

i’m curious what your opinion is on the finer points of the case mentioned in the JSTOR post you reblogged earlier. the two sources in the post say that JSTOR didn’t press charges against him and had already settled with him by the time he killed himself. from what i read on wikipedia, the concern seems to be that JSTOR complied with a subpoena, which i don’t believe they have a choice to ignore? if anything it seems like the us government had reason to want him dead for wikileaks and public court records reasons, so they took a terms of use violation and blew it up into a dozen federal crimes.
is there more context i should be aware of? i have no particular affection or malice for JSTOR but the sources i found don’t exactly implicate the database or its employees in murder.

That's from page 175 of this document. This line: "The activity noted is outright theft and may merit a call with university counsel, and even the local police, to ensure not only that the activity has stopped but that - e.g. the visiting scholar who left - isn't leaving with a hard drive containing our database" is where I think the culpability starts.
Tumblr media
If someone is downloading 1000s of articles (what seems like reasonable threshold for us to take action), what's wrong with us - or the university in collaboration with us - alerting the cyber-crimes division of law enforcement and initiating an investigation, having cop search dorm room and try to retrieve any hard drive that contains our content, etc. Our content is extraordinarily valuable and hard to replicate by the sweat of one's brow, but can be duplicated by savvy hackers and who knows what they want to do with the content?

Page 379: "Does the university contact law enforcement? Would they be willing to do so in this instance?

From page 1296:
Tumblr media
I think the important thing to note here is that JSTOR had worked with MIT and had plans in place to prevent future similar downloads, but remained focused on identifying the person responsible for the downloads and ensuring that their data was deleted.
Tumblr media
"I might just be irked because I am up dealing with this person on a Sunday night, but I am starting to feel like they need to get a hold of this situation right away or we need to offer to send them some help (read FBI).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And there it is. Page 3093 of the document.
JSTOR can hem and haw about it all they want, but you can't un-call the cops.
MIT was working with JSTOR on preventing future incidents of pirating, but JSTOR repeatedly said that they weren't going to let it go, that it was unacceptable to drop the issue, that they were going to continue to pursue the pirate.
You can scroll through the document and see the JSTOR tech department and abuse team talking about Swartz as a script kiddie, and a hacker. You can see someone talking about how this was real theft - making the comparison to stealing books even while admitting that piracy doesn't close others out of access.
You can see the thread starts with a joke about punching someone in the face for hacking their system, and includes the tech team ominously considering whether they should threaten the MIT librarians with the FBI.
There's something really important to note here which I don't think that people who aren't PRETTY DEEP into hackery shit aren't aware of: US law enforcement is absolutely rabidly feral about prosecuting hackers. People may be more aware of this now because of Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden (and perhaps a bit on tumblr because of maia arson crimew), but people who work in tech and who are in infosec - like the people joking about calling the FBI in these emails - would be aware of the bonkers disproportionate punishments faced by hackers. And knowing that, they kept pushing and pushing and pushing for identification of the hacker. They kept digging with MIT, they kept saying that simply preventing future incidents wasn't enough.
Early in the exchange someone from JSTOR asked "what's wrong with us - or the university in collaboration with us - alerting the cyber-crimes division of law enforcement and initiating an investigation, having cop search dorm room and try to retrieve any hard drive that contains our content, etc." and the answer is what happened to Aaron Swartz.
It is absolute bullshit for JSTOR to say "we arrived at a solution privately and didn't want to press charges" after law enforcement has gotten involved with a hacking case, especially one where they're talking about "real theft" and are attempting to quantify and emphasize the amount that was "stolen" from them.
The *public* may believe that private individuals or institutions are the ones who "press charges" but that's simply not the case. It's prosecutors who decide whether or not to go ahead with charges; they do it based on what cases they think they can win and what their office's perspective is on the crime. When you hear about people choosing to press charges it simply means that they decided to tell the prosecutor they wanted the case to go forward. It's up to the prosecutor whether or not that happens.
And the tech team at JSTOR had to know that law enforcement wasn't just going to wag a finger at an academic hacker.
There's a parallel here that happens sometimes when people have their identities stolen by their parents. If you mom takes out a credit card in your name, that's identity theft. That's fraud. That's illegal. If you reach the age of 25 and realize that your credit is ruined because your mom has been defaulting on cards in your name, you've got two choices to fix that: one is to accept the debt and pay it off and build up credit, and the other is to report the identity theft - which will end up with your mom in prison for a decade or so. Ruin your own personal finances, or your mom goes to jail for ruining your finances. So if you find out that your mom stole your identity you can't just call the cops to pressure her into transferring the debt to her name or something. That's not an option. The cops are not a threat to wave over people, they are not a way to get people to fall in line or act right. They aren't someone you can send to a college student's dorm room to retrieve a hard drive and have the matter drop.
When you call the cops on someone you are sending the full force of the law after them, and the full force of the law falls really heavily on hackers, and how heavy that blow can be is something that the JSTOR team must have been aware of when they were making snide comments about calling the FBI because they were frustrated with the noncommittal responses they were getting from librarians.
Ultimately it was the carceral state that killed Aaron Swartz, but they would not have been involved if JSTOR didn't think that what he did constituted theft.
Taking an *EVEN LARGER* step back from that, the idea that information can be owned and locked behind a paywall is what killed Aaron Swartz, someone who fought for information to be free.
Like. JSTOR is a licensing company. At the end of the day, cute social media posts and all, they're the same as the RIAA and ASCAB. They exist to extract a fee from people attempting to access information.
Aaron Swartz and all that he stood for are an existential threat to their core function.
Are JSTOR's hands as dirty as the federal prosecutors? Absolutely not. But they operate on a model that puts them in opposition to open information activists and it ended up with a hammer falling on Aaron Swartz that they dropped.

LORE DUMP BELOW
It’s an entire essay besties, I cooked here
Censor
He/him
Personality:
Crazed, has several screws loose, very mischievous. He’s extremely egotistical, bordering on a god complex at times, priding on his success and accomplishments.
People who dislike him are just jealous, and people who praise him are simply recognizing how great he is.
Censor does have a certain charm to him, though. He’s loud, full of life, and animated in everything he does
He is also quick to anger, especially if one manages to strike a nerve, as his means of dealing with external problems usually involves violence of some sort given his explosive personality.
He can also be a different person around those he is close with. While still being smug and full of himself, he’s playful and generally softer.
Physical attributes:
Height- He’s a monstrously sized creature for my cyberworld, being the tallest recorded addison (though some speculate he isn’t an addison at all anymore). This height only further fuels that god complex of his, as he is quite literally bigger and “better” than others. He uses his stature as a means of intimidation, to maintain a sense of respect and fear around him.
Automatically dislikes anyone taller than him
Machinery- like NEO was, he is made of metal in certain parts, his arms have connection points where metal meets muscle in his shoulders. He cannot feel painful sensations in his arms, despite still having a sense of touch.
Smile- Censor is permanently smiling regardless of what emotion he is feeling at any given moment.
His grin can raise or lower depending on his feelings, but it never goes away, and is one of his distinctive traits
Lore:
If a Lightner can create a Darkner through their own passions and desires, would it be possible for a Darkner to create its own “Darkner” with a strong enough will?
The whole point of the world of Deltarune is that you don’t get to pick your fate. But in Censor’s corrupted save file, there’s no player to control Kris and the gang.
He’s the result of the game crashing mid-NEO fight, leaving his world behind in an incomplete state, where the city continues on despite there being no lightners anymore.
When they don’t attack Neo as the game intended, his will overrides the corrupted script, and he creates a new self, Spamton EX. Or, as he calls himself now, “Censor”, in a personal rebrand to distance himself from that forsaken name.
While his current form is not nearly as powerful as NEO had been, he still holds enough power that he was able to steal from Queen and get away with it, using the funds to build himself up and begin anew, as Cyber City’s #1 rated game show. He’s currently a huge celebrity despite live broadcasting people getting killed in his hazardous games.
Despite now technically being able to call his own shots now, he wasn’t supposed to have a happy ending, and the world around him is constantly trying to correct the mistake, resulting in Censor having “bad luck”, in which freak accidents are more likely to happen around him.
When there’s individuals whose stories are not meant to end yet, though, his luck suddenly improves when he’s around them, since the universe isn't supposed to take out others as well, only him.
Abilities:
Censors- his name comes from one of the very first abilities I implemented during his early development: his ability to censor people.
He has a radius around him where, when the ability is active, any swear words used will be bleeped out, and a black censor bar appears over their mouths.
He uses this during broadcasts, and to piss people off.
Respawn- As an addison-turned-virus, Censor has the ability to “duplicate” himself much like computer malware can. He uploads his data into a pipis, effectively creating a respawn point where, if he were to die, he’d pop out of the pipis in a small, power save mode.
It takes about a week for him to return to his 9 foot tall self, since he’s around 3 feet upon respawn.
Because of this ability, I have nerfed Censor quite a bit. He might act tough, but when it comes down to it he does not deal a ton of damage, and relies mostly on disorientation to get away from dangerous situations, as he has a tendency to get himself killed fairly regularly.
The plays dumb about how he respawns, and in the media will always insist he does not know how he is capable of this, as it is a quality that viruses have.
Hammer- Censor can summon an oversized hammer as a physical weapon, as well as for physical gags and other uses whilst on set.
Hypnosis- certain types of malware are capable of either altering normal programs mentally or physically (or in rare cases both). Censor is the type capable of altering them mentally through hypnosis.
That being said, he turned into a virus, and wasn’t spawned as one, so his body isn't well equipped to handle the after effects of using this ability.
He most commonly uses it to hypnotize contestants of his show into signing contracts that waive responsibility of harm or death from Censor and his company. That way he gets away with the dangerous stunts and games he broadcasts. Afterward, for the rest of the day he has to deal with crippling migraines as a side effect.
This ability is another secret he guards closely, as it is a telltale sign of being a malware program.
Voice box- Despite not having lips, and his teeth taking up a large portion of Censor’s face, the voice box in his neck allows him to speak clearly. That being said, it also serves two uses in battle.
If he cranks up the volume to its max output, he can let out a shriek that basically is a sonic weapon, deafening opponents for a short period and giving him an advantage.
The voice box has a trigger that, once activated, turns it into what can only be described as a kaiju laser canon that he shoots out of his mouth. It does a significant amount of damage and CAN one-shot opponents if aimed correctly. Censor will only ever use this as a last resort to protect loved ones, never for protecting himself. This is because not only does it make him incapable of speech until respawn, since this is a permanent alteration, but it is also incredibly painful. The gun was intended for NEO; it can be fatal when used since it overheats very quickly, and can get to the point of burning through his neck.
Relationships:
Hex (Orange)- After attempting to reconcile with his OG group of addisons, his relationship with Hex has been complicated. They care for eachother, but Hex used to be a firewall program, meant to sniff out malware and keep cyber city safe, which obviously does not bode well now that Censor is a virus. That being said, tensions do die off at times and they get along well outside of Hex’s suspicions. He personally tailors most of Censor’s clothes.
Video (Pink)- Still iffy. Has no intentions of forgiving Censor for the shit he pulled during the “Big Shot Era”.
Regardless, Censor often visits the small cafe that Video runs. Isn’t super close with him, but Censor still enjoys his company regardless. Has fun messing around and annoying Video along with someone else down this list
Zero (Blue)- Zero has long since forgiven Censor for his misdeeds. They have a heart of gold, and want to see the good in the big guy. They try not to think about his show, as they are disturbed in knowing that people “willingly” get themselves killed on TV.
Will always be happy to cook up dinners for Censor when he visits
Flash (Yellow)- super close with Cens, best buds. Has also forgiven and is moving on.
They are constantly doing irresponsible things for the thrill and the fun of it, with Censor having several viral videos where he accidentally kills himself during these stunts. Flash finds them hilarious.
Video is wholly unamused by their shenanigans (but in an affectionate way). He is the target of many pranks and jokes at the hands of these two.
Relationships Continued (NOT MY OCS):
Gamma ( @notscribblous )- Used to be the bane of his existence, now is the love of his life. Is Censor’s “canon” husband, has gone through several timeline loops in which he went from despising the guy to being head over heels. Enemies to lovers is peak
Ray ( @notscribblous )- Despite Censor not wanting to be a dad, he’s ended up taking the role as a guardian, and he’s a pretty good one at that. But he will absolutely not accept the title of “dad” or “parent”.
He’d burn down cyber city to ash if it meant she was safe and happy.
BB (SeeingIsBeleiving)- DIE DIE DIE KILL. He will make sure BB’s life is hell when he’s around, even if he’s completely outmatched
Gary ( @maggyoutthere )- It’s complicated, don't ask
Schmuck ( @dr-angel23 )- he’s strange even by Censor’s standards, but doesn’t mind the little guy.
Extras:
-his magic attacks are extremely limited, which is why most of his battle tactics would be physical based. That and he usually resorts to teeth and claws to fight
-Cannot exist in a snowgrave route, only ever in a normal NEO battle
-Acts like he has cartoon physics. He, in fact, does not.
-kinda stupid
-actually really stupid

Tumblr media
A quick method to deal with blurry action shots that have Hannibal's quintessential dim lighting + green color grading combo.
Here's the example I'll be using:
Tumblr media
Don't get me wrong, I love the look of Hannibal, but the average person doesn't scroll tumblr with their screen brightness on max. Plus, night light filters and blue light glasses add even more yellow to an already heavily filtered show. If you want people to see your gif clearly, you have to edit it at least a little. Especially for extreme shots like this lol.
What I use: macOS 15.1.1 Elmedia Player 8.18 dupeGuru 4.3.1 Topaz Photo AI 3.2.0 Photoshop 25.11.0 LuLu 2.6.3 (optional, but it's nice to block outgoing connections from pirated programs)
Step One: Take Screenshots
Open your video file (1080p preferred) in Elmedia Player and navigate to the first frame of your gif. Hit "Playback > Record a Series of Screenshots" and let it run until you have all the frames you want. Unfortunately for mac users, we have a problem where a lot of duplicate screenshots are taken (like every third screenshot is a duplicate... it's so annoying). To save time later, I use dupeGuru to clean out as many duplicates as I can.
Open dupeGuru and add whatever folder you saved your screenshots to.
Tumblr media
Scan the folder, then hit "Mark > Mark All" (you can see here that the program only caught one duplicate, which means more work later. it's not a perfect program -_-)
Tumblr media
Hit "Actions > Send Marked to Recycle Bin..." to remove the duplicates from the folder
Tumblr media
Step Two: Denoise
At this stage the screenshots are so dark that the noise isn't obvious, but it'll be more noticeable after brightening and sharpening. Here's the difference this step makes later:
Tumblr media
Upload all your screenshots to Topaz Photo AI and add a Denoise layer. I normally go with the automatic settings.
Tumblr media
Hit "Select All," "Apply > Current Settings," then export all your images. This can take a while depending on how many images you have.
Tumblr media
Step Three: Create Frame Animation in Photoshop
If you've read any other gif-making tutorials this part should be familiar, so I'm gonna skim over it.
"File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack"
"Browse..." and select your Topaz output files
"Sort by Name" so they load in the correct order
"Ok"
Once all the layers have loaded, hit "Create Frame Animation" in the Timeline window
Under the Timeline window options menu, hit "Make Frames from Layers," then "Reverse Frames"
This is probably when you want to go through frame-by-frame and delete any remaining duplicates. It's very annoying to have to redo this step if you want to go back and edit your crop size later. (Not that I would know... 🤡)
Step Four: Crop + Resize
Crop, then "Image > Image Size" to adjust the width of your gif. You'll most likely want to use one of the common tumblr image dimensions:
Tumblr media
Keep in mind that tumblr's gif size limit is 10 MB. But it's honestly best to keep it under 9.5 MB if you want the gif to load smoothly. A 540x540 px gif can have 40-60 frames while a smaller gif can be longer.
Make sure to add +2 px to whichever width you choose (so 542 px, 270 px, etc), since we'll be adjusting the canvas size later to get rid of transparent border anomalies.
Step Five: Color
The more common order of operations is to sharpen before coloring, but for dark scenes like this, it's kinda silly to sharpen when you can barely see what you're doing, so I like to color first.
Select all your frame layers and make a new group, just to keep them separate from your adjustment layers.
I always start by testing out the Auto Color Correction Options in a Curves adjustment layer. To access them, opt + click on the Auto button. This opens a window with four options.
I like to use a combination of "Enhance Per Channel Contrast" and "Find Dark & Light Colors," though either option can be used to adjust color balance. The important part is selecting "Snap Neutral Midtones" and picking a midtone that brings your gif as close as possible to the desired color balance.
Tumblr media
If changing the midtone doesn't affect the color balance, brighten the gif first and try again.
For this gif, "Enhance Per Channel Contrast" removed the bulk of the green filter:
Tumblr media
It's still pretty dark, so I brightened up the gif with some more Curves layers:
Tumblr media
There's still a lot of purple/blue in Dolarhyde's black leather jacket, so I added another Curves layer and used "Find Dark & Light Colors" to improve the blackpoint:
Tumblr media
Now we can up the contrast a little:
Tumblr media
Nice! Good enough to move onto sharpening!
SIDE NOTE: The reason I use these Color Correction Options is because simply brightening leaves you with purple/blue shadows and sickly green over-exposed highlights that take ages to color correct. You can see the difference here:
Tumblr media
(If you've ever wondered why so many Hannibal gifs have blue shadows, this is why.)
Step Six: Sharpen
This is where you'll want to start implementing actions, which are pre-recorded series of adjustments that you can perform with the click of a button. I mainly use three actions (download here, open the Actions window in PS, open the Action options menu, and click "Load Actions...").
The "frame animation to smart object" action converts the gif to a video timeline so we can apply smart filters.
The "legacy sharpening + high pass" action applies my standard sharpening filters. Not every gif will need the high pass filter, so feel free to change its opacity or delete it altogether. You can also tweak the smart sharpen filters by right clicking them and selecting "Edit Smart Filter..."
Tumblr media
3. Once you're happy with the sharpness, the "convert to frame timeline" action turns the gif back into a frame animation. I use a 0.05 s frame delay for most gifs (equivalent to 20 fps; 24 fps is standard for tv/movies). I normally use 0.07-0.08 seconds for action shots, so the gif doesn't whip around so fast. Over 0.1 seconds, it starts to look like stop motion, so I try to avoid that.
Step Seven: Final Adjustments
This is where I fine-tune the colors, mostly using Hue/Saturation layers.
If I use a Color Balance layer, I only make very small adjustments and try to counterbalance them in the other tonal ranges (e.i. adjustments to the Highlights spill over to the Midtones, so I make the opposite adjustments to the Midtones to fix it). But most of the time, I'd rather play around with Curves or Hue/Saturation to fix stuff like that.
Hue/Saturation gives you more control by allowing you to select the exact color range you want to affect. For this gif, I used Hue/Saturation to get rid of the purple introduced around the highlights in Will's hair by the high pass filter.
The eyedropper tool allows you to select the exact color you want to include in the range. Then you can move the bars around until all the colors you don't want to affect are excluded.
Tumblr media
Once you have your range selected, you can bring the saturation all the way down and set it to whatever lightness you prefer:
Tumblr media
I also reduced cyan's saturation so that Will's shirt wouldn't look quite so blue.
Tumblr media
[You could do a lot more to make the colors prettier... but there are other tutorials online for that. 😅]
Step Eight: Export
Once you're happy with your final product, go to "File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy)..."
These are my settings:
Tumblr media
You can use Diffusion instead of Pattern if you want. Diffusion is probably better for mobile gif compression, but I like the way Pattern looks on desktop, especially for gifs with smooth gradients. It's a personal preference thing.
Hit "Save..." and you're all done!
Tumblr media
This isn't gonna win any gif-making awards, but at least you can see what's happening and the colors don't look wonky. And for Hannibal, I call that a win! 🥲👍

GUESS WHAT BITCHES ITS
INTO THE WREN-VERSE
I don't know why I decided to do this but I suspect it's because I lack any semblance of self control.
I made one "Wren" or "Sirius" for every Tumblr colour, each with their own personalities and backgrounds, though with certain singularities, their "Canon Events" So to speak.
RED IS @roan-rossignol
- The "Bastard Wren." Bastard child of Loki, Bastard personality, bastard of a man.
- Owns a casino and speakeasy called Red Velvet and is DEFINITELY shady, where all the underground shadowy people go. Seems like he's running a whole ass mafia. Is he really? Who knows.
- Sirius is his half brother on his mom's side, Works as a bartender at the bar there and makes a pretty good bouncer. Literally the only thing keeping Roan from going batshit with his brand of crazy.
- His intelligence lays with his words of manipulation, tricking people into making deals with him without lying, but only because he doesn't have to. He's also incredibly intelligent when it comes to any kind of game, especially the ones at his casino. His skills lay in people and puzzles.
- Magical powers, the odd one out in that. Mostly in deceiving and shape-shifting, though has greatly expanded his magical prowess over the years.
ORANGE IS @brother-of-a-villain
- Sirius Prime, so to speak. A voice of reason for his own ball of crazy back home. He is tired, and honestly not much surprises him anymore. How is he able to keep up with everyone's shenanigans? Even he has no idea.
- Runs an autoshop in the Bowery and is good at what he does. He's really putting those 7 years of school and masters in aerospace engineering to good use.
- Wren is his full brother, and has done most things in his life to try and protect them. Most of which haven't worked, which he feels emence guilt over.
- Doesn't have any powers, but may be a carrier of a dormant Metagene.
GREEN IS @fenris-morant
- The "Quiet Wren/Sirius", which is probably due to the amnesia he's had for the past year and a half of his life, so it's not like he has much to talk about.
- Is a very active and stupidly good Mercenary/Hitman/Assassin named "Wolfsbane", a play on his namesake and the deadly plant.
- Does not know who this "Sirius" Guy is, other than the dogtag around his neck when he woke up and the birthday card in his pocket. Wants to find him to figure out who he is and what happened. Though, he could also BE Sirius and just chose the wrong name, he doesn't know yet.
- His intelligence related to anything killing and detective work. He's a great tracker that way. He can calculate the curve of a bullet through a pipe and can pin a fly by its wings without killing it. This guy knows how to cover his tracks.
- Has the ability to turn his body, or parts of his body into green lightning that can phase through attacks, move as fast as lightning, and pack quite a punch. Can also manipulate the weather to create electrical storms. He's also rather immune to electrocution.
BLUE IS @wren-beowulf
- Wren Prime. the fuckin' crazy one who you definitely know is fuckin' crazy. The good kind of crazy (sometimes) with a good heart.
- Used to be a villain, but hey, love changes people. Works as a mechanic who dabbles in the illegal now.
- Sirius is his brother who is still very much a part of his life. I'd say he's the only thing keeping Wren from blowing everything up, but considering that already happened that's a lie.
- His intelligence is in anything engineering related, can figure out anything you put in front of him and can make virtually enything in record time. Also does coding, but simply prefers building.
- Has the ability of Duplication, and can make doubles of virtually anything, even himself, which he does often. He also recently acquired weird ghost powers which he's still figuring out.
PURPLE IS @caspian-vares
- The "Mellowed Wren" But also not really lol. He seems pretty calm, but if you actually know him he's just a different brand of adrenaline junkie who has trouble separating the "Could I?" From the "Should I?"
- Works part time as an anonymous newspaper photographer, as well as a local "fixer" of odds and ends. Also works as a notorious hacker known as SP3CTER who is known to be able to get into anything and vanish without a trace, like a ghost.
- Sirius was his... brother? Though since Caspian was adopted he has no idea if they were biologically related or not. He's... also been dead for a while, leaving Casper with a lot of guilt over his death.
- His Intelligence is basically a reverse of the Prime Wren's. He's a stupidly competent hacker and tech wiz who also does some engineering, though mostly as side projects.
- He has the ability of multiplication, and can make multiples of virtually anything, even himself, though only does it if he has to. After his brother's death he awakened a secondary mutation that gives him telekinetic and telepathic abilities, which he hates. Though it is noted that one of his biological parents had a telekinetic/telepathic ability as well.
PINK IS (I HAVENT MADE HIM YET BARE WITH ME)

Thoughts on Madoka Magica Magia Exedra
bear with me ive only seen the main anime though my memory is very rusty and like just yesterday I started getting into magia record (anime, idk how accurate it is) but im only like... halfway-ish there??
tbh i didnt think turn based games were for me because idk man strategy??? im too dumb for that
and then i got like REALLY into hsr 💀
Tumblr media
i saw like snippets of this game being played during early access by someone who was into magia record and they said there wasnt really any point to playing when at the moment it was just redoing old story and i get that but also part of it for me is just i like watching characters battle
its why i played like the jjk gacha game and the solo leveling game i already knew the story i was just there for the combat, though i can also understand on the other hand repeating stuff youve already seen before getting very boring
Tumblr media
'A-Q' huh? like Q-B if i think on how Kyubey (i think im butchering the pselling) is pronounced
i was wondering why he (?? is it a he?? or like an it?) was green
i feel like i suddenly just remembered this show has horror elements like not that ive seen anything rn im just like gonna be hella on edge over stuff thats prob not a big deal i just should not be playing this so late LMFAO
wish there was a log feature that let you reread dialogue because i read fast so i tap fast but then sometimes i want to reread it cause i miss something (i know this means i should slow down but patience? haha whats that)
this game has way too many moments where the screen turns white my eyes hate me
i find it stating what characters roles are nice
also im surprised at how unlaggy its been on my end though im worried itll only get worse as it updates more and more
i think im gonna skip the story (except for stuff ive never seen before)
HEYY ITS THE MAGIA RECORD PPL AYOOOO
Tumblr media
MORE
Tumblr media
my one thing is is that in battle its so pixelated (so as not to be such a drain on my phone) that i actually am struggling to read whats on the side of the character icons
so game plan on who i want on my team (usually based on whose my favorite even if the team doesnt fully work with each other)
uhh idk i like sana and homura? i might be misremembering names or something
can music during exploration not be so ominous 😭😭😭
OH YOU CAN PAUSE THE CUTSCENES thank you for making screnshots easier
madoka pov
oh i forgot to take a screenshot i was waiting if her hands would go up again but no
cause so madoka had her hands up and it appeared on the sides of the screen like we were seeing what madoka was seeing and i thought it was cool its just not as clear in a screenshot without
you can only pause cutscenes in the story it seems
oh my god i was so scared it was gonna suddenly crash one md uring the pulling it froze for one terrifying second
yipee fan girl
Tumblr media
how pretty
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you can choose now whether to play the story you unlock or to not
Tumblr media
i like that if you defeat the boss the battle ends even if there are remaining enemies
theres no beating the boss then getting absolutely annihilated by the remaining enemies and having to redo the entire thing (listen yknow in hsr that enemy that duplicates itself if you hit it i hate it so much 😭😭)
IT CRASHED i.... 💀💀💀💀💀my phones hot but its not burning hot so thats new (usually when stuff crashes on me its like hella hot)
oh it started me back where i left off
it crashed while it was entering a boss fight btw lmfao
ult animations are cool i swear i want like a compilation of everyone's
OH DAMN THAT DID A LOT OF DAMAGE it just took off 1/4 of the boss hp all in one go wtf DAMNNNN
i mean i think it was because i was also using a lot of everyones ults right before like buffs and debuffs and stuff but like SHEESH
im like so tense every time that mami death scene boutta happen anytime now dude
the zoom when new floors unlock is so awkward 😭
i think im gonna stop here and continue playing over time (i was gonna say like play it offline but like ???? im not streaming LMFAO i think i just picked up the terminology)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i wanted to end when she died (or completed the picture) but im sleepy

Teasing and Techniques (Another Level - Installment 2, Part 1)
Summary:
“Gojo Satoru,” she called, watching his lips quirk upward into a smirk. “What’s a Tokyo boy such as yourself doing all the way out in Kyoto?” “Kurisaki Rinko,” he replied easily, hands in his pockets as he walked towards her slowly until he stood directly in front of her. “You never did tell me how your cursed technique works. How about it?" - “You’re a Zenin.” More like an unwanted mistake. Which, funny enough, had actually been the first words she ever heard her father say to her.
AN: I decided to combine the first two parts of the original, so this is Part 1 and 2 from the AO3 version :)

Teasing and Techniques - Part 1 (and 2) 2010
“Gojo Satoru,” Rinko called, watching his lips quirk upward into a smirk. “What’s a Tokyo boy such as yourself doing all the way out in Kyoto?”
It had been almost four years since they’d first met at the exchange event when they were in school. Their paths hadn’t had reason to cross since.
She never imagined she’d come across him in an abandoned warehouse in the middle of Kyoto, exorcizing the curse she’d been tracking. It was a Grade 3 at most, so it surprised her that he was wasting his Special Grade time on something so weak.
A different kind of confidence oozed from him, a result of his obvious growth.
She’d heard about his achievements through the grapevine, never surprised that he was excelling. After all, she’d experienced his power before he reached his full potential and barely survived.
Part of her shuddered at the thought of another fight like that now, with him at his full strength. Another part craved it more than anything else.
He’d exchanged his sunglasses for white bandages to cover his eyes, but even still, she knew he could see clear as day. The makeshift blindfold covered most of his forehead too, pushing his hair up so it stood in uneven spikes.
“Kurisaki Rinko,” he replied easily. His hands were in his pockets as he walked towards her slowly until he stood directly in front of her. He was somehow taller than he had been in school, towering over her even more than their first meeting. “Guess I shouldn’t be surprised to run into you.” He tilted his head to the side, obviously staring at her even if she couldn’t see for herself. “What am I doing here? Dealing with your messes, of course.”
His reply caused her to roll her eyes, watching the small smirk grow into a grin.
“You never did tell me how your cursed technique works,” he said, leaning down so his face was level with hers. “How about it?”
She could tell his eyes were narrowing behind the bandages as he stared down at her, unable to sense her energy. It was how she’d snuck up on him to begin with.
“Don’t tell me you’ve been obsessing over me and my technique for the past four years?”
She kept her voice teasing, but she knew he’d made inquiries about her abilities since they’d met and even more after they’d graduated. He was a man who didn’t like not being in the loop, and she was sure it drove him crazy not getting answers.
Unlucky for him, her records were sealed tight.
“Of course not. But your energy output,” he continued, “reminds me of someone else I’ve met.”
Releasing the tight hold on her cursed energy, she poured it into her duplicates and prepared for the fight she knew was coming. The fight she was asking for.
“Ah,” she replied, letting her smirk grow. “I heard you had a bit of a run-in with Toji-kun.”
Just as she’d thought, the name made his energy spike, bloodlust filling her senses and she barely had enough time to swap with her closest duplicate before he annihilated her.
“A friend of yours?” he called, not turning to look at where she’d moved to. “Fushiguro Toji was a friend of yours?”
She knew better than to tempt fate, to taunt Gojo Satoru. But just like the first time, it was too much fun to resist. Still, she knew that if she wasn’t careful, he would kill her with ease. Last time she made him angry enough, she’d barely survived. With his power levels now? She didn’t stand a chance. And this time she didn’t have the luxury of teachers and witnesses stopping him if she actually pushed him too far.
If only he wasn’t so much fun to tease.
The strongest in the world was predictable when it came to how to rile him up.
“I only met Toji a few times,” she admitted, holding her hands up. “Heard he gave you a bit of a problem-”
He was barely containing his rage, but she knew that he could tell she wasn’t a real threat. That knowledge didn’t stop him from rushing towards her, his entire body buzzing with his cursed energy.
He’s faster than I remember, she thought to herself.
But of course he would be. His fight with Toji had supposedly unlocked something in him that had laid dormant until then. Allowed him to harness techniques he’d been unable to tap into before.
Her adrenaline spiked just like it had during their first fight years ago. She forced the excitement down and focused on ensuring she had a duplicate ready to swap with.
Staying on the defense was going to be harder this time, seeing as she knew his senses were stronger. He’d see through pretty much anything she threw at him now. Getting any cheap hits was extremely unlikely. With that thought at the forefront of her mind, she struggled to keep up with replacing her duplicates as he destroyed them. He was using just a smidge of cursed energy with each hit, meaning it was harder for her to create another.
Avoiding his hits was proving to be nearly impossible. He grew faster with each miss, a sadistic smile on his face the entire time.
“How did you know Fushiguro?” he asked casually as she physically dodged one of his punches. Her heart stuttered in her chest when she realized how close he’d been to hitting. A millisecond slower and her brains were painting the walls behind her. “And I am still so curious about this technique of yours-”
It was a display of his strength, how easily he could carry a conversation while she focused every ounce of energy on avoiding his inhuman barrage. And he was doing it on purpose. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Playing with her, just like she had with him.
Pouring energy into another set of duplicates, she instantly swapped with the furthest, watching as he exerted more cursed energy than before to demolish it.
He had learned how to tell the difference immediately, she realized. In fact, she paused, assessing the situation. Eyes narrowing slightly, she noticed that he was pulling his punches when he knew the her in front of him was real. The second she swapped away, he destroyed it.
It was true that he had surpassed his former self and even more true that she was in over her head in a fight against him. She’d always known she was no match. But now it was painfully obvious as he toyed with her.
Whispering to herself, she allowed her energy to flow freely, knowing it was a stupid risk. But picking a fight with Gojo Satoru had also been a stupid risk.
“Cursed Technique,” she murmured, taking control of her duplicates and allowing them to multiply. “Shadow Step.”
The echoes of her movement surrounded them now, and Gojo paused his assault to let out a loud laugh. Turning around slowly, he saw the dozens of copies, all mimicking her movements as she wanted. Releasing her grip, she allowed them to act independently, repeating past actions as she focused on masking her own energy to blend in.
But the level of concentration needed to keep the echoes going at the same time as her duplicates was quickly draining her energy.
A low whistle escaped Gojo’s mouth, his grin still in place as he reached up to pull his bandage blindfold down. Revealing his icy bright irises, he observed her technique with the full weight of his Six Eyes.
With those, he’d find her in seconds, she knew he would.
“You’re full of surprises, Kurisaki,” he called, searching the shadows for her. “Which one is real, hm?”
Without another word, he set to work destroying her echoes, letting out a laugh with each one that disappeared. Struggling to keep up with how quickly he got rid of them, she felt her energy waning as he enhanced his fists with cursed energy.
“Gotcha,” he suddenly said, turning and staring directly at her. He anticipated her dodge, fist shooting out faster than she could react and throwing her backward. Her technique fell, and she released a heavy grunt when her back met the hard concrete wall. It knocked the breath from her chest, and she struggled to push herself back to her feet.
Breathing was harder for more reasons than the shock of the impact. She’d felt some distinct cracks when his fist came in contact with her chest; and another crack when she slammed into the wall.
Letting out a somewhat unhinged laugh, Gojo appeared in front of her again and grabbed her the front of her shirt.
“How many more techniques you got in that pretty head of yours?”
His breath was fanning across her face as he leaned down, his bright eyes staring straight through her. Destroying her echoes hadn’t been an attempt to find her, it was meant to weaken her.
“Guess you’ll have to wait and see,” she breathed, still trying to force the air back into her lungs. Her ribs creaked in response to her shaky inhale, a groan of pain almost escaping. “Or, you can buy me dinner as repayment for cracking a few ribs.”
Another smirk pulled the corners of his mouth, and he chuckled quietly. Releasing his grip on her shirt, he braced his hands against the wall behind her so she was caged in. He leaned even closer, his lips inches away from hers as his eyes stared into her soul.
“You asking me on a date, Kurisaki?”
It was her turn to laugh, watching his eyes flit down to her lips as the air wheezed out of her.
“Wouldn’t you love that, Gojo?” she teased, tilting her head to the side. “No, I’m offering to tell you about my technique. But you have to buy me sobayaki dan okonomiyaki first. I know a great place not too far from here.”
Tumblr media
He had put his blindfold back in place as they walked to the izakaya, shoving his hands back in his pockets nonchalantly.
Now, he stared at her through it as their food was placed in front of them. His expression had been neutral when she returned the owner’s cheerful greeting. But when she snapped her chopsticks apart and sighed happily, his indifference began to crack. The amused smile broke free as he watched her barely resist the urge to inhale the steaming food.
She let out a quiet, delighted groan when the taste of the fluffy pancake and sauces exploded on her tongue.
“Ugh,” she moaned, ignoring how his amusement shifted into a smirk at the noise. “Nothing better than some delicious food after a long day and a few cracked ribs.”
He hummed quietly in agreement, digging into his own food while he continued to stare at her expectantly.
“How did you know Fushiguro?” he asked, his voice serious. Pulling part of the bandage down, he stared at her with one eye. “How would you know the Sorcerer Killer?”
“Cousins tend to know each other,” she stated vaguely, shoving a giant bite into her mouth.
Partially true. She hadn’t actually met most of her cousins.
But as she spoke, his eyebrows met his hairline.
“You’re a Zenin.”
More like an unwanted mistake. Which, funny enough, had actually been the first words she ever heard her father say to her.
Swallowing, she tutted, motioning with her chopsticks.
“Ah ah,” she began, forcing herself to pause to take a sip of her tea. “Fushiguro willingly gave up the name. Took his wife’s instead because of how much he hated the family.”
“But you didn’t.” Gojo’s voice was even as he set his chopsticks down, still staring at her intently. Clearly, seeing as she wasn’t married. But she’d let that slide. “Then what’s your story? You related to the Fushiguro family? They’re not related to the Zenin clan outside of-”
“Not Fushiguro,” she snorted. “I’ve never met any of them, at least outside of Toji.”
“Kurisaki isn’t a known family. And it isn’t associated with Zenin either-”
“Nope,” she stated, watching his face twitch when she cut him off. He was getting irritated, she could tell. “Kurisaki is a family with zero cursed energy, zero Jujutsu Sorcerers before me. Zero knowledge of curses-”
“Then how the fuck-”
“Someone is impatient,” she teased, feeling a thrill when he scowled. “Kurisaki is my mother’s name. My father, however-” she trailed off, feeling a small spike of fear at her almost slip up. She was already telling him too much.
At her pause, Gojo only quirked an eyebrow.
“Wanted nothing to do with me,” she continued flatly. “A bastard from a non-sorcerer family. My mother raised me away from the Zenin clan.”
“Then how’d you end up at Kyoto Tech?”
“Gakuganji,” she replied, pausing to slurp up some noodles. “Zenin may not acknowledge or want anything to do with me, but they couldn’t just let me run around untrained. Too much risk. So, when I hit the right age, they sent him to collect me. According to him, I was technically enrolled the day I was born under the stipulation that I displayed any signs of cursed energy when I got older.”
“Doesn’t explain how you ever met Fushiguro,” he said, leaning back. “He was a legitimate kid. Just didn’t have cursed energy. And if you were raised away from the main clan-”
“You’re so curious about Toji,” she said, her mouth still full of noodles. “S’pose he made an impression, huh?”
His mouth pressed into a thin line, and she quickly swallowed her bite as she realized that one was probably too far.
Toji had killed him, after all.
“Toji came and found me,” she admitted, placing her chopsticks down beside her plate. Gojo looked like he wanted to say something, but she held her finger up to silence him as she turned and called out, “Oi, could I get a beer?”
Upon confirmation, she turned back to see Gojo still leaning back as he crossed his arms over his chest.
“Toji found me before Gakuganji came to get me,” she said, accepting her beer and taking a huge gulp. “I was twelve, I think? Maybe thirteen. I knew of the Zenins. Knew my father was one. But I didn’t know anything else.”
Except that one phone call, where her father had addressed her as the ‘unwanted mistake.’
“I was just starting to understand what I could do, or at least understand that I had the potential to do something. And had just found out I was lucky I’d been allowed to be born. He’d heard about me through whispers. Wanted to see what the fuss was about.” Pursing her lips to the side, she remembered what he’d asked her. “And he wanted me to keep him informed of clan happenings. He thought I’d be more involved with them once I started school.”
“And?”
“At the time, I considered it,” she admitted, shrugging. “I’d never met anyone else from the clan in person, I hated them already, and his ask wasn’t that difficult.”
She’d been bitter and angry. Hated that her only conversation with her father had started with him asking if she was the mistake.
“So you helped him-?”
“No,” she snapped defensively before deflating slightly. “Not really. I agreed that I’d let him know if and when the clan reached out to me. That was why I ended up meeting him more than once. But- after Yoshinobu took me to school, it didn’t take me long to tell him Toji had contacted me. Made me realize how stupid I’d been.” Pausing again, she took a deep breath, feeling her ribs protest. “Probably saved my life, though, agreeing the way I did.”
Gojo released a quiet grunt at that, a small frown on his face.
“He’d have killed you as a kid?” he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. “Cold.”
“Pretty sure you already knew that,” she retorted. “Found out first hand, yeah? This was before he only cared about a paycheck, too. I have little doubt he’d have killed me that day to keep me from talking. Luckily, he never learned about my technique. But now, I obviously don’t have to worry about that-”
“So you’re telling me you owe me for getting rid of him,” Gojo said, an almost predatory grin forming. “Kurisaki Rinko in my debt?”
“Hardly,” she scoffed, staring at his blindfold now. “Toji’s only concern by the time you killed him was a paycheck. It’s why he killed you in the first place, remember? The only reason Toji ever would have targeted me was if it would have made him money.”
Though, she thought darkly, the Zenins would have paid him well.
“Last I heard from him was almost a year before you met him-”
“Oh?” Gojo leaned forward as he pulled his blindfold down slightly, revealing his left eye to her. “And why was that?”
“He’d heard I’d been to the estate for the first time,” she replied, her side aching. The scar under her ribs was a fun reminder of the only time she’d visited. “He wanted to know about the kid that was like him, the other one born without cursed energy.”
“Ogi’s kid.”
Everyone knew how much the Zenins despised that Ogi’s kids were ‘weak.’
“Thought that my visit was my introduction to clan activities,” she continued. “It wasn’t. I haven’t been back since. Too bad for him, he didn’t get his insider. He was honestly surprised I wasn’t welcome at the estate. Said he figured I would be with how strong I seemed. Think he was bullshitting me to get me to do what he wanted, though. He said he thought my father would want me around, which I know was bullshit-”
“Your father-?”
“I’ll leave that one as a mystery,” she said evasively, her gut dropping at the thought of him knowing. She knew better than to talk about him. “Anyway, yeah, as you pointed out earlier though, Toji had no cursed energy, and I can mask mine. Noticed how easily he could sneak up on people, thought it might come in handy.”
“Neat trick,” Gojo mused, tilting his head to the side. His blindfold was back in place. “So,” he was grinning again. “A Zenin bastard, eh? What a concept. They’re pretty traditional-”
“One reason I’m not welcome,” she agreed, watching him smirk. “One of the many reasons I’m not welcome.”
Taking another, longer pull of her beer, she felt the cool alcohol soothe her throat and her anxiety.
She hated the Zenins. But she also knew that she could get in huge trouble for telling Gojo as much as she had. While she wasn’t privy to details, she knew tensions were high between the two clans, and she’d technically just handed the Head of the Gojo clan a trump card.
Her stomach dropped as the weight of what she’d told him hit her, and she fought the panic that began to rise in her chest. At the very least, she hadn’t revealed her father’s name. But she assumed it couldn’t be that hard for him to figure out.
Rinko hated that old man, but she feared him more.
She feared that entire clan more, really.
That first and only visit to the estate had ended with a brawl that resulted in her being rushed away, barely breathing as the threat whispered in her ear echoed in her head.
And now, she’d just willingly told Gojo more than she’d ever told anyone about her family. Especially her relation to Toji. But for some reason, as she watched him, part of her believed she could at least trust him to not broadcast the information.
At least she hoped he wouldn’t.
The Gojo and Zenin clans didn’t get along, and tensions were high, but she hoped he didn’t care enough to use the information.
Plus, she’d promised she’d explain how she knew Toji after teasing him. Admittedly, it had probably been too much, poking fun at the fact that he’d quite literally died.
Not even a week after Rinko had met Gojo Satoru for the first time, he and Geto Suguru were escorting the Plasma Star Vessel. It wasn’t well known exactly what happened that night, but she knew enough to know that Toji had killed the girl and Gojo had killed Toji. And Gojo Satoru had died and risen again, calling himself the one and only blessed.
Hime knew more than she did because she’d been assigned to Tokyo at the time. And Shoko was there. But neither told her anything. And she hadn’t asked. It had been a sensitive subject, to say the least. Amanai Riko had only been thirteen, after all.
The one thing Rinko did know about that was that Gojo had been a terror in the few days leading up to them receiving the assignment for the escort. Hime had called her, saying that Gojo was grilling her about who Rinko was. She realized later that he had no idea she knew Shoko beyond her healing her injuries after he’d almost killed her.
“What did you do to him?” Hime had asked, her voice filled with amusement. “I’ve never seen him so worked up.”
She’d utterly humiliated him at the exchange event.
Well, humiliated was probably too strong a term. But she still reveled in the look of shock on his face when she’d landed that first blow. And the cold look in his eyes when she’d refused to tell him anything about her or her technique.
She hid her smirk at the memory by taking another drink, draining the rest of her beer, and letting out a small sigh of contentment.
Gojo had tried to find out more, she remembered the lecture she’d gotten for her display because of how many questions he’d asked. The more resistance he was met with, the harder he pushed, still coming up empty.
He’d inquired about her after they graduated, too. Tried to access her records. But, just like she’d discovered early on, he found they were sealed tighter than the higher-ups’ assholes.
“The great Six Eyes of the Gojo clan was bested by a Zenin bastard,” she stated, knowing she was once again poking a much larger, stronger bear. But she just couldn’t resist. “And not even just a bastard, a half-breed.”
As she spoke, Gojo’s jaw clenched. She watched his brow furrow, knowing now that meant he was narrowing his eyes at her.
To her surprise, though, he didn’t take the bait.
“Zenins are strong,” he stated, shrugging his shoulders. “Not surprising you’re stronger than you look.” He tilted his head towards her empty glass. “Indulging, I see.”
It was her turn to shrug, grinning at him as his face slipped into a bored expression.
“Might as well if you’re paying, right?” she teased, somehow just knowing that he was rolling his eyes. “Also helps numb the throbbing pain in my chest,” she said dramatically, and he let out a scoff. “Because you definitely cracked a few of my ribs.”
“Just means you still need to get stronger.”
There was no sympathy in his voice but also no malice. To him, he was just stating a fact.
Because to him, to the strongest, cracking someone's ribs like toothpicks was nothing.
They sat in silence for a few moments, before he was suddenly letting out a quiet hum. Leaning forward, he pulled the bandages down again so she could see his left eye staring at her intensely as he asked:
“You wanna get outta here?”

A Decent Revenge
Summary: Before the Fleur incident, the Ramshackle residents, Yueme and Mizuki, made a plan to reveal everyone Rollo's actions. Rollo was only forgiven which made twst boys confuse as to why would Yume do such a thing. Let's just say this is what Yueme had to deal with the overblots, and a certain bat dad only learning about this later on
Tag: @hanafubukki @pika-ace
Note: Yueme (my Yuu oc, gender-neutral as possible), Mizuki Abyss (twst oc), also inspire by pika-ace's twst scenario of the Masquerade from last year
I do hate Rollo a bit for what he did, but then again, he's just a teenager who was truamatise at a young age, but still.
In the middle of the night, in the Ramshackle dorm, lounge room, Mizuki and Yueme made a plan. Since they know the information, thanks to Mizuki, who have access on the JP server. The day when the ENG server will get the Masquerade event for this Halloween, Yueme didn't want to participate and was afraid that they'll have to go the upcoming incident and he has no choice because he's the "Yuu" character. Which brings Mizuki, they are in-fact not human but a high rank demon. The plan was simple, Mizuki holding a magical video camera for recordings. If things go wrong, they can expose the recording to Noble Bell College.
"Okay, here's the plan: I'll disguise as you and act like you so no one will be suspicious. Once I'm at Noble Bell College, on that night when he shows his true colors, I should welcome him with a surprise."
"I'll be here with Ortho to help me. Out of all of the classmates, he'll be able to understand our plan, right?"
"Yep. If we tell the teachers, such as Crowley, he would grew suspicious as to how we know this will happen. As for the others, they will focus on the Halloween event here and it'll only bring questions that we can't answer. Which is why we need Ortho's help."
"What about Grim?"
"It's best if he doesn't know about the plan. I mean, he will know once this is over."
"What about Lilia then?"
"Oh he'll definetly will know depending which choice Rollo will pick. Don't worry, I'll also be another guard for your dear friend Malleus."
_________________
When the day arrived, it all went according to what is happening. The students who were selected waiting at the Mirror Chamber. Grim made his apperance and Mizuki disguise as Yueme. Acted how Yueme responds and how their voice sounds like Yueme.
No one suspect them, not even Rook couldn't tell it was Mizuki thanks to their demonic powers. Though there were slip calls as Malleus can feel a powerful aura but never question it. He was to focus on this social event as he was finally invited for once. Mizuki felt bad for him as this was just part of Rollo's plan to wipe away the magic.
They were glad they didn't end up with a group, they didn't have problems as they were a master with magic, even made a duplicate self to keep an eye out on Rollo.
All acording to plan. As for Yueme, who was with Ortho, was willingley to help because his older brother safety.
Finally, the first night. The time where Rollo rings the bell, the students who were there were knocked out by the Crimson Flower's hunger. As the flowers were heading to Mizuki, everyone panicking thinking their friend "Yuu" will end up hurt. Until Mizuki snap their fingers, summon a barrier spell that allowed to protect the ones who are still awake. The Crimson Flowers that surrounded them now all died away, reveiling their true form.
Rollo, who was watching up high, shocked as to what happened. He thought the "Yuu" is magicless as the flowers wouldn't do no harm...unless..."Yuu" does have magic(?)
As Rollo got close to the ground, a magic spell was put into him to bow down. That is where Rollo knew he fuck up.
___________________________
Flashback
"If I remember correctly, when the crimson flowers surrounded the player, everyone thought that the player would get knocked out like the rest."
"They didn't because they didn't have any magic, so they were fine."
"That's where the plot twist happened. As I reveal myself my true identity, that is when we, Ramshackle students, make our entrance. You, as the houswarden, gave him a choice: to face his consequences in front of the whole Fleur City. Or transfer to Night Raven College for the rest of his school life to his graduation."
"Hmm... I like that. I would like to have another student for Ramshackle Dorm as it's just the two of us, plus three ghosts and Grim. The whole point of this is for Rollo to face his wrong doings. Making him realize that what he did could lead to disasters, maybe even ended up like what his school historic figure looks up to. Hehehehe.."
__________________________
"H-how is this possible?"
"Oh? You thought I was Yuu? You're not the only mastermind here you know?"
"T-then who are you?"
Then a portal open, the real Yuu showed up.
"So... it was you who made the social event for Archane schools. Just to invite someone, right?"
"W-what do you mean? I didn't just invite Malleus-"
"I didn't say Malleus, did I? You know, if something terrible happens to him, it won't turn out well for your schools reputation. Oh wait no, the whole country that is."
"What are you talking about? Just spit it out already!"
"Wow, calm down as if your ego is more important than the people you hurt. You cause this incident; there were plenty of witnesses who saw your doings, this magical flower that's supposedly went extinct 100 years ago to what I was told from my vice-warden. Therefore, you must face your punishment."
"As if! You have no proof it was me!"
"You intentionally wanted one of the most powerful mages in the world to be here. It is somehow suspicious as the others were only selected by random. Someone who is top of their class would know about this Crimson Flower. Even if you won't admited, I can expose you to someone who would've ended you."
"Ooo! Get roasted."
As Yueme and Mizuki look down on Rollo, the others who were in the barrier listen the whole conversation. Even the students who were Rollo's classmates were surprise of what Rollo was doing.
It hit worse for Malleus as this whole thing was a trap for him.
Back to the conversation, the nrc boys keep watching until Yueme reach thier hand to Rollo.
'What are you doing, Yuu?'
"I can give you a choice. One which you can quietly carry this burden throughout your whole life unless you are forgiven. Or transfer to my school in Night Raven College, but I garente you won't feel safe as I don't have magic."
"...I"
*Pulls Rollo to stand up*
"You decide on that yourself. I'm taking my classmates back as they are all exhuasted. Let's see if you can explain this to other archane schools. Remember this Rollo and I shall welcome you with open arms."
*
*
*
So, back to Night Raven College. Everyone thought the social gathering would last till another three days and two nights. Before they could ask but Crowley, for once, did his job told the students and staff's to focus on the Halloween event.
That went well as Yueme and Mizuki were worried about Crowley getting suspicious of them.
More importantly, Lilia Vanrouge, the one who is more worried, especially his boys, who were like his children to him. Malleus, who was like the eldest child to him and the only thing left from his childhood friends. Silver, who was found in a ruin castle and raised alongside Malleus. And Sebek, the youngest grandson of an old friend.
So why is it hard for the trio to not answer the bat dad's questions?
"Well...don't you have anything to say?"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Please tell me. What happened that made you all return so fast? Were you hurt?"
Before the trio could say anything, there was a knock on the door.
Knock, knock, Knock
"May I come in?"
"Yuu? Yes, you may."
Yueme entered themselves, alongside with Mizuki.
"Um... Lilia, do you really want to know what happened?"
"Why, yes. Did something hapened at the Social?"
Before Yueme could reply back, they looked at the trio first before things get out of hand giving them a facial expression, "Is that alright with you?"
They all nod in agreement.
"Well then, Lilia. We might talk about this in our dorm. It's quite a long explanation."
*
*
*
Once Yueme and Mizuki explain briefly of what happened at Fleur City and what Rollo's plan was all along, Lilia was really mad. Luckily, Mizuki holded him to not let him go. As for Malleus Silver and Sebek, they never saw him angry, always a smile on his face.
"Let me go! I said let me go!"
Yeah, Lilia didn't take the news lightly. It took about two hours to try to get him calm down.
Then tears start to come out. He then gave up as Mizuki let go of him, but he sank to the floor crying.
"Mizuki, tissues."
"On it."
"Lilia, can you please sit on the couch?"
Silver helped Yueme to carry Lilia to sit down on the couch as Mizuki returned with a tissue box and gave Lilia a cup of water.
"I'm sorry, Lilia."
"Sob sob...what are you saying, Yuu?"
"Human, your vice-warden was there in your place. Why is that your apoligize right now?"
"...Because I find it suspicious as to why he wanted to invite Malleus as he would already be selected, and Crowley would annoucement way earlier when everyone was at the lecture hall. I couldn't tell the others or the teachers as they wouldn't believe. I don't have the power to protect to prevent it."
___________________________________________________
Author note: Took me a while to get the writing finished as my wifi was getting slow.
Another thing I like to add. I did the most safest punishment for Rollo is either transfer to NRC where he would be targeted by Lilia or apolegize. Yeah, it was his fault and had a reason, but his actions, no.

Outer Rifts, Log 1
If my circadian rythm computations are still trustworthy, it is Wednesday - the five hundredth and forty third Wednesday by Tellus' week reckoning. I've felt somewhat futile still trying to keep count by earthly measures - I am so far removed from the grim reality of that planet that it seems right on the edge of my concious thoughts.
While I realize this sounds glum and hopeless, it is not by design. In fact, I still hold high hopes for my mission, even though the probability of my return is negligible.
I have decided to start this log as a definitive record of my endeavour, so that if my mission should prove fruitious in any sector of the universe where it would make a difference, there will be an understanding of my methods and tough choices.
The last physical interaction I had with an organic being was one hundred and sixty three circadian cycles ago - I docked onto service craft SC14285-Z along the outer edges of the WA-335 cluster for refueling and restocking of provisions. The being whom I spent most of the physical interaction with was an organic biped from the triplet planets of Initium-C2 (translated to GSL - galaxy standard language) with a name that doesn't translate to anything outside his own tongue.
I find it fascinating, though, how two beings, with a difference that should span several galaxies, can find common ground so easily. I took to calling him John, and he seemed to like that. I can't put my finger on why it was the name 'John' specifically that came to mind when talking to him; my best guess is that our interaction felt like home, in a way.
The interaction began as most of my scarce dialogues have during the last couple of years. We started comparing our respective homeworlds. When we got to talking about music, John astounded me by humming some melodies eerily similar to some songs from Tellus. My thesis is that while there are a presumable infinity of tonal systems to adopt, in an infinite universe there would thus, statistically, have to appear se duplicates. And within the Western Tellus hemisphere's tonal system, the permutations are many, but far from infinite.
We talked a great deal that circadian evening, over one or two too many glasses of intoxicating beverages. I'd like to think I've made a friend in John, though it is not just likely, but probable that we won't be seeing each other again.
At my first encounters, that thought saddened me - the ambition to keep up interstellar relationships is a naïve one - but lately I've found myself rather enjoying the serendipitous nature of my travels. No interaction is long enough to turn sour, and I've left most all of my new acquaintances as good friends.I feel like this log will be a saving grace, though. For me as well as everyone affected by my mission.
This is the end of Log 1.

3 | Better Than Them
Like most kids who had joined the Jokerz, Ghoul had idolized the original Gotham villains - criminals who had taken over the city’s streets. Joker in particular stood out as the villain that knew how to cause chaos and have fun. Even though Ghoul wasn’t a huge fan of the more “traditional” clown getup, he could get behind the idea of the Joker. That’s why his first big undertaking had been Joker’s Venom.
He’d been with the Jokerz a year or two, and his intelligence had fairly quickly cemented him as leader of his own little group. And of course, it took no convincing at all to get them all on board with the idea of recreating the venom - Joker was their idol, after all. He’d been real proud of the results of that - the effects, the casualty, even. To be honest, the prison sentence only sweetened the deal - to have his name, GHOUL, in the headlines for recreating the chemical designed by Gotham’s most infamous villain? He was smiling as the police cuffed him.
And then getting broken out of Arkham by the Joker himself? Even without being sure it really was him, he was thrilled. But that was about where the fun of The Joker ended. Ghoul was not a big fan of being knocked down from team leader to henchman - but hey, what was he gonna do, fight the guy? And then there was Bonk. He may have been annoying and overly aggressive, but he didn’t deserve that. And he was their teammate. Their friend, even.
They all knew it wouldn’t be the same after that. Put on an act, make Joker think they were “with him,” and maybe if they were lucky they’d survive the ordeal. Ghoul didn’t think it was very funny.
By the end of it all, between Bonk and how close they’d come to being burnt to a crisp by the lazer Joker had set on the city, Ghoul was done with - disgusted by - anything even remotely related to The Joker. Once he got out of Arkham after that - let off easy because he and his team were “under duress” - he didn’t go back to the Jokerz.
He found he preferred working on his own - making his own plans and keeping his own profits. And holy hell, was he glad he’d never adopted the clown gimmick.
Of course, it was harder to have fun on his own. He had to establish himself first - become well known, trusted. Well, as trusted as a criminal chemist could get in Gotham. Even with his successful recreation of Joker Venom, no one who wanted anything interesting was gonna come to him. Just people who wanted a little something off the record. Once some lady who didn’t know who he was came to him asking for a duplicate of a perfume that had gone out of production in the early 2000s - that one was real fun.
But then again, he wasn’t really trying too hard to find challenges. He wanted something interesting, but… it wasn’t like he’d really gone searching for something new. Just… stayed where he was, waiting for it to come to him.
Scarecrow was right. He was afraid.
Being on his own, all alone - it wasn’t really something he’d ever faced before. After he’d run away, he went right into joining the Jokerz. Sure, it wasn’t like he had friends, by a long shot, but if he was getting up to something, he wasn’t the only one involved. He had people to fall back on, to hide amongst. If something went awry, he wasn’t ever facing it alone. (Or, more accurately, he wasn’t running away alone.) But like this? There was no one, no backup plan if some deal went south. No one to call for help.
Simple, boring projects were safe. Ghoul kept enough chemicals in his back pocket to neutralize some thug who thought they could get the best of him. But supervillains? Working with Joker was all he needed to see that if they didn’t want him around any longer, he wouldn’t really have much say in the matter. Sure, maybe the supervillains of the modern era weren’t quite on Joker’s level, but they were stronger than Ghoul and he knew it.
But playing it safe wasn’t how he would have fun, and it certainly wasn’t how he’d live up to his potential. He was better than the Jokerz. And he was better than every project he’d been hired to take on since he went off on his own.
Ghoul had heard of the Scarecrow’s fear toxin before - of course he had. The Scarecrow and his chemical were in almost every book about Gotham’s villains that he’d stolen from the library as a kid. Something about the fear toxin, though… it just always seemed too serious. Too… close to home.
It had always seemed like fear was the one thing Ghoul could never run away from. It followed him from one stage of his life to the next, an unrelenting reminder of how much of a coward he was.
Maybe being under constant surveillance for most of your young life just had that effect.
Gotham Academy was riddled with cameras - the headmaster wanted to make 100% sure that nothing was happening on academy grounds that could cause a problem for the school. It was a bit uncomfortable, but it was pretty justified.
At home, on the other hand - there was hardly a corner of his childhood home that wasn’t under constant surveillance. The ever-watchful eyes of his parents didn’t stop at the walls of the house, though. They didn’t even end at the borders of the estate.
They had used their money and power to worm their way into the surveillance systems of the city. They were everywhere.
Ghoul lived in hell. Constantly, painfully, terrifyingly aware that there was nowhere he could go where he wasn’t being watched. Monitored every second of his life, trying desperately to tip-toe around the beatings and screaming reprimands he knew he’d endure if he stepped out of line - or hell, even if he didn’t.
It felt like he was being suffocated. The uniform button-up, tie, and blazer of the Academy he had to wear everyday choked him with the reality of just how trapped he was. He was always afraid.
And then he ran away. Left behind everything that had kept him fearful - and immediately stepped into a world full of threats much worse than his parents ever were.
Initiation with the Jokerz left him feeling more helpless, sick, and fucking terrified than he’d ever felt in his life, and he had sworn to himself that night that he would never let himself feel that way again.
Messing with fear toxin felt too much like playing with that weakness. Even if it was a challenge of his caliber, to recreate such a thing then play off of the formula until it was stronger than the original, there was a part of him that was intimidated by what it could do.
But if he could turn that kind of fear on someone else… He remembered how exhilarating it was the first time he realized people were truly terrified of him. How his return to the Jokerz after their sick “initiation” had scared the shit out of them, and earned their respect nearly instantly.
He’d love to feel that adrenaline rush again - and the thought of a worthwhile project alone was enough to be exciting. So, he didn’t waste another second to begin his research.

Soaring to Success: How Voice Acting Relates to a Cabin Crew Job
Tumblr media
Soaring to Success: How I, as a Cabin Crew Member, Relate to Voice Acting
When I think of voice acting, I often visualize animated characters or narrators working their magic behind the scenes. At first glance, it might seem like a completely different world from my high-flying duties as a cabin crew member. However, I've come to realize that there are some intriguing parallels between voice acting and the world of aviation. Let's explore how these two seemingly unrelated fields are more connected than one might think.
Communication is Key
In both voice acting and cabin crew roles, I've come to understand that effective communication is absolutely paramount. Voice actors use their vocal talents to convey emotions, deliver lines, and tell captivating stories. Similarly, as a cabin crew member, I rely heavily on clear and concise communication to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers during a flight. I provide instructions, answer questions, and offer reassurance, all while maintaining professionalism and composure.
Adaptability
I've noticed that voice actors must often adapt their voices to fit various roles and characters. This adaptability mirrors the flexibility required of cabin crew members. Whether we're dealing with unexpected turbulence, adjusting to diverse passenger needs, or addressing unforeseen challenges, cabin crew must be quick thinkers who can adapt to situations with poise and grace.
Professionalism and Presentation
In both voice acting and cabin crew roles, I've come to appreciate the importance of presenting oneself professionally. Voice actors must present themselves professionally when recording or performing, just as cabin crew members need to maintain a polished appearance and a friendly demeanor while representing the airline. Both roles demand a commitment to excellent customer service and a polished presentation.
Emotion and Empathy
I've learned that voice actors infuse their performances with emotion and empathy to connect with their audience. Similarly, as a cabin crew member, I use my emotional intelligence to provide care and comfort to passengers, especially during stressful or challenging situations. Empathy helps both voice actors and cabin crew members build rapport and trust.
Teamwork
I've experienced that voice acting often involves collaborating with directors, producers, and fellow actors to create a cohesive performance. Likewise, cabin crew members work closely with their team to ensure the smooth operation of a flight. Teamwork and cooperation are essential in both fields to achieve a successful outcome.
Keeping Calm Under Pressure
Both as a voice actor and in my cabin crew role, I've realized the importance of staying calm under pressure. Voice actors sometimes face tight recording schedules and the pressure to perform flawlessly, just as cabin crew members must remain composed and make critical decisions during emergencies or high-stress situations. The ability to stay calm under pressure is a shared trait that contributes to success in both professions.
In conclusion, as a cabin crew member, I've come to appreciate the essential qualities and skills that connect these two seemingly different fields. Effective communication, adaptability, professionalism, empathy, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are just a few of the parallels that I've discovered. Whether I'm soaring through the skies as a flight attendant or lending my voice to captivating characters, I now understand that the skills and qualities I develop can be applied in surprising ways across various career paths.

Why Your Business Needs Reliable Data Warehousing Services Today
In today’s fast-moving digital world, data is no longer just a collection of numbers. It has become the heart of decision-making for businesses across the globe. Every time a customer browses a product, clicks a link, or makes a purchase, valuable data is created. However, managing this massive amount of data is not as simple as it seems. That is where Data Warehousing Services come into play.
Understanding the Need for Data Storage
At the core of every successful business lies one powerful asset—information. Yet, without proper storage and structure, raw data can quickly become a burden. Companies often face problems like scattered information, slow reporting, and poor analysis. Thankfully, a data warehouse helps to bring all that data together in one place.
Instead of collecting details from multiple tools separately, data warehousing allows everything to be stored centrally. As a result, reports become faster, insights get clearer, and decisions are made with more confidence.
How Data Warehousing Works
Data warehousing is not just about storing data. It includes the process of gathering information from different sources, cleaning it, and organizing it in a way that makes it useful. Whether your data comes from marketing platforms, customer service tools, or accounting software, it can be combined in one unified system.
Additionally, the system filters out errors and duplicates, which means you get only accurate and updated information. So, your team no longer wastes time sorting data. Instead, they can focus on using that data to grow your business.
Benefits You Should Not Ignore
There are many advantages of using professional data warehousing services. First, they save time. Rather than searching through various systems, your data is available in one click. Second, they improve accuracy, which helps in making smarter choices. And third, they make reporting smooth and automated.
Moreover, since the data is kept in a secure location, it reduces the risk of loss or misuse. This is especially helpful when dealing with sensitive customer details or financial records. In fact, as businesses grow, having a solid data system in place becomes even more important.
Who Can Benefit from It?
From small startups to large enterprises, any business that handles customer, sales, or product data can benefit from data warehousing. For instance, retail companies can understand customer behavior better. Healthcare providers can track patient records safely. And finance firms can monitor transactions with ease.
Even if you are just starting, building a solid data foundation will help you scale faster in the future.
Choosing the Right Partner
Not all data services are created equal. You need a partner that understands your needs and offers solutions that match your business goals. A company like Hexaview Technologies provides customized Data Warehousing Services that fit perfectly with your data strategy.
Their team ensures smooth integration with your existing tools while offering strong support and security. Furthermore, they help you make the most of your data by turning it into meaningful insights. Therefore, instead of just storing data, you actually start using it to improve your performance.
Final Thoughts
To sum it up, in a world where data is the new gold, having a reliable warehouse system is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. With the right solution in place, your business gains the power to act faster, grow smarter, and stay ahead of the competition.
If you haven’t yet thought about organizing your data, now is the time. Invest in a service that brings you clarity, speed, and safety. After all, your business deserves to thrive with the right tools in hand.

How to Grow Your Super Faster: Top Strategies
Tumblr media
Superannuation is one of the most powerful tools for securing your financial future, but for many Australians, it’s often set and forgotten. The good news? With a few smart strategies, you can accelerate your super growth and retire with a more comfortable nest egg. Here’s how to grow your super faster and make the most of this essential long-term investment.
1. Make Voluntary Contributions
One of the simplest ways to boost your super is by making voluntary contributions. This can be done in two main ways: pre-tax contributions (salary sacrificing) and after-tax contributions (non-concessional). Salary sacrificing reduces your taxable income and can be an efficient way to grow your super, especially if you’re in a higher tax bracket. Meanwhile, after-tax contributions can be ideal for those who’ve received a bonus or inheritance.
Before making any significant financial decisions, it’s wise to speak to a financial adviser or even consult with a taxation lawyer in Perthto ensure your contributions align with current legal thresholds and benefits.
2. Consolidate Your Super Account
If you’ve had multiple jobs over the years, you might have more than one super account. This leads to duplicated fees, multiple insurance policies, and scattered savings. By consolidating your super into one account, you reduce administrative fees and allow your balance to grow faster. Make sure to check for exit fees, insurance loss, or tax implications before consolidating.
3. Choose the Right Investment Option
Most super funds offer various investment options ranging from conservative to high-growth. Younger investors might benefit from selecting a more aggressive portfolio, which typically has higher returns over time. However, the risk level should align with your age, financial goals, and comfort level.
A legal consultation with a taxation lawyer in Perth can be particularly useful if your super is tied to business income or complex investment structures. They can guide you through investment risks and fund-related compliance matters.
4. Take Advantage of Government Co-Contributions
If you’re a low- to middle-income earner and make after-tax contributions to your super, you may be eligible for a government co-contribution of up to $500 annually. It’s essentially free money from the government for contributing to your future — so don’t miss out if you qualify.
5. Review Your Fund’s Fees and Performance
Not all super funds are created equal. High fees can erode your balance significantly over time. Regularly review how your fund is performing and how much you’re being charged in fees. If you’re not satisfied, consider switching to a fund with a stronger track record and lower fees.
6. Maximise Contributions as You Approach Retirement
Those over 55 or nearing retirement can take advantage of catch-up contributions or downsizer contributions if they sell their home. These strategies can significantly boost your balance before retirement.
If you’re dealing with complex tax or legal issues regarding these contributions, seeking advice from a Federal Tax Litigation Attorney in Perth can help clarify your obligations and entitlements under Australian tax law.
Growing your super faster doesn’t have to be complicated. With a mix of strategy, regular review, and the right professional advice, you can set yourself up for a more secure and enjoyable retirement. Take action today—your future self will thank you.

From Chaos to Clarity: Why Your Teams Need Timesheet Software
In any fast-moving organisation, time is constantly in motion—meetings, deadlines, deliverables, support requests. But without visibility into where and how that time is spent, teams can quickly slip into chaos. Work gets duplicated. Deadlines are missed. And leaders are left guessing what went wrong.
Timesheet software is more than a time-tracking tool—it’s a foundation for structure, accountability, and decision-making. It helps turn scattered work hours into clear, actionable insights that drive performance and profitability. Here’s why your team can’t afford to operate without it.
1. Eliminate Guesswork, Gain Visibility
Relying on memory or spreadsheets to track time leads to inconsistent, delayed, or inaccurate entries. Timesheet software brings structure to the process. Teams log hours in real time or through automated prompts, giving managers a clear, reliable view of who’s working on what—at any moment.
Insight: Visibility leads to better planning. When you know where time goes, you can allocate resources wisely and respond to shifting priorities with confidence.
2. Improve Accountability Without Micromanagement
Micromanaging kills morale. But with no oversight, accountability suffers. Timesheet software strikes the right balance by making everyone responsible for logging their own time. Project leads can track progress, and individuals can reflect on how their time is used—no need for constant check-ins.
Result: Teams become more self-aware and managers gain clarity—without hovering.
3. Identify Bottlenecks Early
If a project is slipping or a team is overloaded, early detection is crucial. Timesheet systems provide real-time data on effort spent across tasks, helping managers flag problems before they escalate. Whether it’s scope creep, resource overuse, or misaligned priorities—early signals lead to quicker interventions.
4. Enable Accurate Client Billing and Internal Costing
In professional services, billable time is your revenue engine. Without precise tracking, you either overbill (damaging trust) or underbill (losing revenue). Timesheet software ensures that every hour is logged, categorised, and billed correctly—whether for external clients or internal projects.
Bonus: Integrate with your invoicing system to speed up billing cycles and reduce revenue leakage.
5. Support Data-Driven Resource Management
When time data is collected consistently, it becomes a powerful tool for forecasting and planning. You can identify underutilised talent, balance workloads, and plan future capacity more accurately. Timesheets feed directly into better resource management across your organisation.
6. Simplify Compliance and Audit Trails
Whether you’re dealing with labour laws, internal policies, or client agreements, a digital time record is a reliable source of truth. Timesheet software provides audit trails, approval flows, and exportable reports to help your team stay compliant—without manual effort.
Conclusion
The difference between a chaotic team and a high-performing one often comes down to visibility and structure. Timesheet software gives you both. It removes guesswork, improves productivity, and helps your team stay aligned, accountable, and agile.
